Student Led Conferences

A Time to Celebrate Learning

March 25th, 26th, & 27th

February 26, 2026

Dear Parents/Guardians:

The end of Quarter 3 is quickly approaching. I would like to invite you to make a 15 minute appointment for a Student Led Conference on either March 25th, 26th or 27th.  The House Leader will assign each parent/guardian conference to a teacher.  Please use this link to find your child’s House Leader.  These conferences will be Student Led Conferences. The purpose of  Student Led Conferences is to support students becoming more motivated, reflective, and evaluative about their work. Our goal is for students to become more engaged in their learning by becoming active participants in the process.

Students are required to attend conferences with their parents. A house teacher will meet with you and your scholar for a 15 minute conference in which your scholar will discuss their academic progress so far this school year. Your scholar will lead the conference, sharing goals, work samples, and academic progress data. If at the end of the conference you still feel the need to talk to the teacher, please request a meeting or house meeting for a date in the future. Unified Arts Teachers will also have scheduled times when parents can schedule conferences with them. Teachers (such as Art, Music, Physical Education, Math Mastery, Reading Mastery, TAP / CTE, World Language, and Challenge) are also available to meet with you for 10-minute conferences, but on a first come, first serve basis.

All conferences are being scheduled online at   https://www.myconferencetime.com/sageparkms Conference Sign ups begin Monday, February 25, 2026. Conference time slots will be filled as requests are received online. Online registrations will receive instant confirmation.  Additional confirmation with room numbers will be sent through email and regular mail.

In an effort to support the mission of Student Led Conferences, we are providing childcare for any family that would like for their student to wait at the school until a parent arrives for conferences.  Information about childcare is forthcoming from our Family Resource Center. As usual, we will also have childcare services for families with small children between the ages of 5-10. Sage Park National Junior Honor Society students (supervised by adults) will watch children in the Family Resource Center or gym while the parents/ guardians attend conferences. To use the service, please stop by the Family Resource Center in room 176 about 10 minutes before the scheduled time of your conference.

Pre-scheduled conferences are intended for families and their student scholars.  We will not be able  to accommodate walk-in requests for conferences on March 25th, 26th, & 27th.  If you have any questions regarding this process, please contact your child’s School Counselors.

Sincerely,

William Fisher
