Kindergarten and 1st Grade students do not attend school on August 31st and September 1st. Instead, they will come in to school for one 30 minute assessment time on one of those two days. We will use this time to assess the students in different areas such as letter knowledge, letter sound knowledge, rhyming and numbers. This data will give us a better idea of where each student is academically at the start of the school year. All Kindergarten and 1st Grade students will start school on Wednesday, September 2nd.
Please select either "William Byrne Elementary" (for your Kindergarten child) or your child's 1st Grade Teacher. Enter your child's name into a time slot that works best for you. You can also sign up at Open House from 4-6pm on Wednesday, August 26th.
